Oil under strain from U.S.- China exchange war, however OPEC cuts offer help
Oil costs were blended on Monday, with U.S. unrefined under strain from Sino-American exchange pressures, while Brent costs were bolstered by OPEC's supply cuts.Front-month U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) unrefined prospects were at $58.43 per barrel at 0700 GMT, down 20 pennies, or 0.3%, from their last settlement.
Spot Brent unrefined prospects, the global benchmark at oil costs, were firmer at $68.82 per barrel, 13 pennies, or 0.2%, over their last close.
