Oil Prices Gain Despite Conflicting Signs on Sino-U.S. Exchange War

Oil costs picked up on Tuesday in Asia notwithstanding clashing signs about the Sino-U.S. exchange war.

U.S. Raw petroleum WTI Futures increased 0.7% to $54.01 by 11:15 PM ET (03:15 GMT), while International Brent Oil Futures rose $58.48.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he thinks China needs to make an arrangement "in all respects severely" and that China called his exchange group on Monday and said "we should return to the table."

"So we will return to the table and I think they need to accomplish something. They have been harmed all around gravely yet they comprehend this is the correct activity and I have incredible regard for it. This is a positive improvement for the world," Trump said.
